![]() Great sleeper guitars! I have three and am retired, so downsizing to just the beat up one that I leave out. USA made and built in New York by the Favilla family. Thomas Favilla identifies the models and approximate vintages as follows: From left to right: 1. Has a translucent red finish all over that lets the pretty grain shine through, various small bumps and nicks along the top edge, a small ding on the back, a couple smaller than rice size depressions in the top, a few finish checks along the bottom edge of the bottom bout. Herk (Hercules) Favilla Thomas Favilla The early 'Marca Aquila' label from a Favilla mandolin a beautiful Favilla guitar. Super sweet solid mahogany classical, folk or songwriter guitar. ![]() Height at 6th string at 12th fret is 3.5mm, 1st is 3mm. Low action with plenty of saddle showing. Top bout is 10 7/8 inches, bottom bout is 14 1/4 inches, neck is a comfortable flattened C shape, body is 4" deep at the bottom bout. Medium fret wires, no sharp ends, smooth neck. Rosewood fretboard and bridge, classical roller tuners all working well. ![]() Structurally sound, straight tight neck, and lots of saddle showing. Top and back, classical size and shape nylon string guitar.
